EAST LIVERPOOL – Dr. Nichole Barton has joined River Valley Physicians, an affiliate of East Liverpool City Hospital.
Barton is a graduate of Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren. Upon completion of her medical training, Barton joined the hospitalist team at St. Joseph, where she spent six years providing inpatient care for moderately and acutely ill patients. Trained in osteopathic manipulation, Barton provides an alternative to traditional narcotics for pain. “We treat patients holistically and focus on restoring balance,” explained Barton.
“Our industry has changed significantly over the last few years. Care coordination from primary care providers is essential to improving patient outcomes. We are pleased to have Dr. Barton joining our team of primary care physicians. Her inpatient experience will certainly make a positive impact for patients that she serves,” said Keith Richardson, chief executive officer at East Liverpool City Hospital.
