DC Music relocating, expanding

2 min read

CALCUTTA – DC Music Store, located within the former Hills and Ames plazas along state Route 170 in Calcutta, soon will be relocating to the former Family Video spot located in the same plaza, next to the Calcutta Post Office.

“Thanks to the community’s overwhelming support throughout the years, DC Music Store now has the opportunity to expand their store to a new larger location in October 2016. The new location will allow for more products and services to be offered to their customers,” say Zach and Dave Byers, owners.

“We’re very excited to have the opportunity to expand our store and still keep our business in the same plaza. We have some cool new ideas in the pipeline for the new location as well,” say owners Zach and Dave Byers.

The new location will feature larger lesson rooms, an enclosed acoustic guitar room, a demo recording studio, and a larger showroom.

The local family-owned music store has been in the area for the past 14 years (though started in 1998 as online only the first few years) and offers many services such as lessons, repairs and rentals. They also offer many of the top instrument brands in the industry and ship throughout the world on a daily basis.

“We have tons of fantastic musicians in our area and we want to be sure to offer them a top notch music store,” the Byers’ say. “Stop in or check out our website today for moving sale deals. It’s certainly more fun to sell than have to move it.”
