EAST LIVERPOOL – East Liverpool City Hospital has announced the addition of Dr. Tanmay Lal to its Department of Surgery.
Dr. Lal is a graduate of Medical Education program at the University of Bombay. He completed residencies in general surgery at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
In addition to his general surgical training, Lal has performed fellowships in transplantation surgery at the University of Maryland, the University of Pennsylvania, and Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Massachusetts. And now, he brings his first class training to Columbiana County.
“Our hospital is pleased to provide a surgeon with such extensive training to our local communities. The need in our region for experienced surgeons continues to grow. And with the addition of Dr. Lal to our surgical team, our hospital is favorably positioned to meet the growing demand,” said Keith Richardson, chief executive officer at the hospital.
