WEIRTON – CHANGE Inc. has announced that Family Medical Care’s Vision Center is accepting new patients at the Weirton Family Medical Care office, located at 3136 West St.
The FMC Vision Care team has more than 40 years of experience with a private practice setting.
“With the new Vision Care team, Family Medical Care offers a new, fully-equipped Vision Center,” a release reads. “The Vision Center is geared to meet all routine eye care needs, including a comprehensive eye exam along with an optical department that offers low-cost frames, lenses, and contacts.
The FMC Vision Center accepts most insurance types including Medicaid and offers the FMC sliding fee discount rates on eye exams for uninsured or low-income patients. To qualify for the discounted rates, patients can meet with a Health Benefit Coordinator prior to their appointment to discuss options available to them.
