WEIRTON – The Weirton-Wellsburg Chapter of Credit Unions recently made a donation to the Wounded Warriors Project.
“Donations to this project help thousands of injured ‘warriors’ returning home from the current conflicts and to provide assistance to their families'” a release reads. “As the number of wounded steadily increases, it is easy to see how the needs of these brave individuals also increase. The credit unions are proud to be a part of this effort.”
The local CU chapter consists of Eagle Can Employees, First Choice America Community Federal, Hancock School Employees Federal, Strip Steel Community Federal, and Tin Mill Employees Federal.
The donation took place during a recent meeting of the Chapter of Credit Unions.
