MINERVA – Consumers National Bank has announced that Daniel Minick has been named senior vice president and chief credit officer. Minick had been vice president and Akron Metro manager in the bank’s Stow Business Lending office.

In this senior management position, Minick will assume responsibility for the bank’s credit policy and process, as well as the collections function. He will report to Ralph J. Lober, II, president and CEO of Consumers National Bank.

“Dan brings 20 years of credit and commercial lending experience to Consumers and his new role as Chief Credit Officer. He has proven to be a team player as he has worked on some of the bank’s more complex credits,” Lober said. “Dan has also shown a willingness to assist in developing workable credit packages for our customers and has a strong understanding of credit structure and process. I am pleased that we were able to fill this critical position with an internal candidate of Dan’s caliber.”

Minick has 25 years of credit and lending experience at regional and community banks in northeast, Ohio. A graduate of the University of Akron, he resides in Stow.
