WEIRTON – CHANGE Inc. has partnered with eHome America, the nation’s premier online home ownership education program, offering access to quality, accessible information and education for first-time home buyers
“Now our rural and metropolitan residents alike can have quality learning anytime, anywhere from the comfort of their home or on-the-go via their tablet,” a release reads. “Once registered for the online class, they have up to a year to complete the course.”
The online course is offered in English and Spanish with more than 50 video tutorials available. Homebuyers learn at their own pace and are challenged with integrated quizzes and tests to help with their learning experience. This structured web-based class is based on the NeighborWorks America curricula, ‘Realizing the American Dream.’
Additionally, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Office of Rural Development announced that eHome America’s homebuyer education meets the agency’s needs as a provider for online homebuyer education.
Potential homebuyers can access eHome America at www.eHomeAmerica.org/changeinc or contact Joy Reese, Housing Counseling Manager for CHANGE, at 304-797-7733 x405 for more information.
