Dr. and Mrs. Jason Young
COLUMBUS — Dr. and Mrs. Jason Young of Columbus, were united in marriage on Sept. 22, 2017 in the Christman Hall of Stambaugh Auditorium, Youngstown. A reception for 150 guests followed at The Lake Club.
Parents of the couple are Bill and Sue Devon of Calcutta and Steve and Michele Young of Akron.
The bride wore a Stella York gown of lace with French tulle gathered at the sweetheart neckline. The maid of honor was Abi Buchheit of Calcutta and matron of honor was Courtney Fridley of Westerville, Ohio. Bridesmaids were the groom’s sister, Monica Lorkowski of Apex, N.C.; Ashley Hutton of Westerville; Jessica Herr of New Albany, Ohio; and Janee Mays of Pasadena, Calif.
Dr. Joe Datsko of Erie, Pa. was the best man. Groomsmen were Chris Lorkowski of Apex, N.C., brother-in-law of the groom; Andrew Devon of East Liverpool, brother of the bride; CJ Ward of Chicago, Ill.; Sam McCoy of Asheville, N.C.; and Colin Richenbacher of Thousand Oaks, Calif, cousin of the groom.
Flower girls were McKenzie and Reagan Ash, cousins of the bride, and the ring bearer was Wyatt Buchheit.
Mrs. Devon-Young received her Master’s degree in Environment and Natural Resources from The Ohio State University and is a Restoration Coordinator for The Natural Conservancy in Dublin, Ohio.
Dr. Young is a graduate of the University of Toledo College of Medicine and is a resident physician at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, and will be continuing his residency in ophthalmology at Indiana University in July.
The couple resides in Columbus.
