Washington D.C. air travel needs changes
To the editor: As the Senate prepares to consider the 2023 Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Reauthorization bill, I encourage our Ohio senators to support modernizing the outdated perimeter rule and adding more flights to and from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA). The current perimeter rule is hurting the Washington, D.C. air travel market. It hampers healthy competition, resulting in high consumer costs for Ohioans and travelers across the country.
