Tops 1341 met at the Glenmoor Presbyterian church on Monday, March 30, with Mary Gailey, facilitator, presiding. Marlene Reynolds was the best loser and Darlene Naukem was the runner up. They chose cookies and ice cream as the junk foods for the coming week. The drawing winners were: 50/50 Cassie Ensinger, food chart Naukem, weight loss Reynolds, junk food Dorothy Garn. Calcutta VFD fish fry

The Calcutta Volunteer Fire Department will hold its Good Friday Fish Fry from 3 to 7 p.m. today at Station 10, 15445 Pugh Road, Calcutta. Tickets are $10 and include dine in or carry out of fish dinners with choice of sides of french fries, macaroni and cheese coleslaw. There will also be a bake sale and Chinese Auction as well. Proceeds from the event will go to The St. Clair Township Tourism Bureau for the Annual Memorial Day weekend fireworks festival May 24.
