A man driving for Clear Creek Oilfield Solutions escaped serious injury after the tanker he was driving went off the road and over a steep embankment on U.S. Route 30 just west of Wayne Bridge Road in Center Township at 9:31 a.m. Wednesday. Derrick S. Heavener, 26, of Salineville, was westbound when he reached down to pick up something and drove off the road and flipped over a guardrail. Heavener, who was using his seat belt, suffered some cuts and bruises, but he declined medical treatment. He was cited for failure to control by the highway patrol. (Photo by Tom Giambroni)
