Columbiana County Sheriff

A church on state Route 7, New Waterford, reported a problem at 3:49 p.m. Friday. Deputies arrived to find a homeless person, who they transported to a local business for the night.

Deputies smelled the odor of marijuana coming from a car at a gas station on state Route 154, Lisbon, at 9:41 a.m. Saturday. The driver, Jamie Johnson, was cited with drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

n Robert T. Kaiser, state Route 45, Salem Township, reported at 11:25 a.m. Saturday the left front tire of his 1980 Buick Century was flattened and his wife’s 2003 Ford Taurus appeared someone entered it, possibly someone with a key.

Residents of a Salem-Alliance Road, Salem, home in the Deer Run Mobile Park reported at 10:40 p.m. Wednesday someone was attempting to break in. Bryan T. Archer, 23, was cited with criminal trespassing and obstructing official business when he refused to provide his full name and date of birth.

An accident between Debra A. Arndt of Alliance and Louise E. Buck of Alliance on private property at the West Branch Athletic Boosters Clubs, U.S. Route 62, Knox Township, was reported at 7:02 p.m. Thursday.

The Jackson Township Police Department in Stark County asked deputies to check at 7:16 p.m. Thursday on Lisa Kager, who lives with her boyfriend, Michael W. Plauka, Main Street, Homeworth. Deputies found no one at the home at that time.
