The sheriff's office reported at 10:39 a.m. Saturday they received a medical call about a person on South Lincoln who was complaining of having chest pain and shortness of breath. Police stood by with the person until they were picked up by KLG Ambulance.
The Family Recovery Center called at 10 a.m. Wednesday about a suicidal man who had left on foot. Police searched the area but did not find the man, but the FRC advised they contacted his mother, who was coming from East Palestine to also look for him.
Police were called to Brookfield Avenue at 9:43 p.m. Wednesday to assist the county sheriff's office with a domestic dispute. Once there, the officers learned the man had broken the gun in question into pieces and he was going to be transported to a local hospital.
Village street supervisor Jim Oliver reported a gray Echo backpack leaf blower was stolen from a street department truck while they were picking up leaves on McKinley Avenue on Monday.
A caller reported a man had fallen outside Morgan's Drug Store at 2:13 p.m. Tuesday. The man, identified as Walter Best, was in his vehicle by the time police arrived and he said he was fine and declined treatment.
A West Chestnut Street woman called to report a reckless driver at 6:22 p.m. Tuesday. Police located the vehicle and the driver said he had not idea what the caller was talking about. The driver said all he did was turn around in the community pool parking lot.
Lesa Gray reported seeing someone in a dually white truck pulling a red flat-bed trailer strike a parked car belonging to Rebecca Knight, state Route 172, Lisbon, while making a turn in the town square by Huntington National Bank at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The truck driver left the scene.
Rebecca Post, 44, Plymouth Street, Hanoverton, was cited for OVI and improper backing after she backed out of driveway on Harrison Street and into a truck belonging to resident David Simpson at 5:49 p.m. Tuesday.
