Diane P. Sanor, Beloit, reported at 9:27 a.m. Wednesday two kids were riding an ATV back and forth on Westville Lake Road in Knox Township, and she was concerned due to the traffic being detoured onto the road, with a lot of traffic. Deputies checked the area but did not find any kids riding an ATV.
A deputy spoke with Melissa Olsen, Bristolville, who said that she dropped her son off at her sister's home on Cream Ridge Road in Lisbon and his father, Brian Lewis, was supposed to pick him up on Friday and return him on Monday morning, but he did not return him and she was concerned. The deputy spoke with Curt Bannister, Olsen's brother-in-law, and Bannister said that he found out his nephew was at Debbie Sloan's home on McCormick Run Road and that when he went to retrieve him she made threats. Bannister said he was able to get his nephew and take him home.
Dale Rose, Salem, reported at 7:50 a.m. Wednesday the fence was unlocked and open at the Prism Fireworks on state Route 14 in Unity Township. A deputy checked and found several gates open but the building was locked.
A deputy was called to a home on Desellem Road in Madison Township at 11:26 p.m. Thursday for a noise complaint. The resident was warned to turn the music down.
Deputies responded Thursday to a Lisbon Road, Lisbon home about possible threats made via Facebook, with the person saying he mentioned he was "going to sleep." The man said he was fine and had just had an issue with his girlfriend and was not thinking of doing anything to himself or others.
Responding to an alarm Thursday at the home of Timothy Groger, state Route 172, East Rochester, deputies were met by his father, who lives next door. They found the door standing wide open, and the elder Groger told deputies he had been sitting in a chair in front of the door watching a dog in the yard and had just walked back to his house when his son called to say the alarm was going off. He went back and found the door wide open. Nothing appeared to be out of place inside.
Richard Sullivan, 30, Glasgow Road, Lisbon, called and reported Tuesday that, the previous Sunday, he had been in the back seat of his brother's car returning to Sullivan's house. Sullivan said he wanted to go to Wellsville, but his brothers did not. One of his brothers reached over the seat, punching Sullivan in the face. Sullivan said he had been in the hospital in Pittsburgh since the incident. He was advised to come to the sheriff's department to complete a statement.
Someone reported loud noise and people drinking at the Roseland Apartments on Rose Avenue at 1:26 a.m. Saturday.
Cynthia L. Masters, Buck Road, reported a theft at 12:21 a.m. Saturday. The theft turned out to have happened during a domestic violence incident. No further details were provided.
n Donna Welsh, an employee at Dollar General in Rogers, reported at 9:39 p.m. Friday a tall thin man with a yellow Pirates shirt and black shorts came into the store acting strange. First he was in the parking lot for about 45 minutes and changed clothes. While deputies were on the way to the store, the man left in his vehicle. Deputies waited until the business was closed for the night.
Gale Holloway, Adams Road, Center Township, reported a theft involving money at 6:28 p.m. Friday, but when deputies attempted to return his call, they were unable to reach him for details.
John M. Tafe Jr., 44, Lowmiller Road, Minerva, reported at 8:51 p.m. Friday there had been a property dispute. However, while deputies were en route, Tafe called back and said the matter had been settled and everyone was leaving.
