Todd Bray, Tomahawk Drive, Negley, of St. John's Candles – Perfect Scents, reported a couple was inside the store for an extended period of time and made the manager, Kathy Wilson, nervous at 3:24 p.m. Thursday. Deputies found the couple at the far end of the store and they were told it was best if they left.
April Brown, Middle Street, Homeworth, reported at 1:30 p.m. Thursday last year on Jan. 27, 2016, she was dropping her children off at their father's home on Homeworth Road and they got into an argument. The father, Shawn Fogracher, reportedly kicked her car as she was pulling away, then came up behind her while she was driving on Homeworth Road and acted as if he was going to ram her vehicle with his. He further reportedly threatened to kill her and reached through the open rear window attempting to pull their son out. When she rolled the window up, he then let go of the boy. They later came to an agreement that they would attend anger management, but he has not attended the classes and it has been a year. Brown wanted to file criminal charges against him now to try to get the courts to order him to attend the classes. Deputies explained the charges should have been filed a year ago in their opinion, but they would send the information to the prosecutor's office.
Deputies were sent to a home on Fairmont Road, Lisbon, at 11:15 a.m. Thursday to check on the welfare of a family reportedly living in a shed without heat or water. Sonya Lowe told deputies she, her husband and their 15-year-old son own the property and are building a log cabin there. She spends the day at the property, feeding and taking care of their animals. The shed has a heater and she can get warm if she needed, but they actually are staying with the Homer Carnes family on state Route 154 outside of Elkton until the cabin is finished.
Nicole Barker, Y and O Road, East Liverpool, reported at 10:08 a.m. Thursday she was getting her children on the bus that morning when her neighbor was driving fast in the shared driveway. She also said the neighbor came outside with a hammer, yelling obscenities. While talking to Barker, the property owner Thomas Byers pulled in to speak with deputies. He said his brother, Matthew Byers, is the one living in the house. Matthew Byers told deputies Barker blocks the end of his driveway. He was told to stay away from Barker, and she was told to also do the same.
A 911 hang up call was reportedly made from Peace Valley Orchards in Unity Township at 8:18 a.m. Wednesday. The owner, Dan Simmons, was unaware of the call, but checked all the extensions at the facility. No one was having an emergency.
