WELLSVILLE — Cruiser and backhoe repairs, a radar gun, and work on the Wellsville bridge were among invoices approved last week by village council.
The invoices totaled $8,349.38, including more than $3,500 paid to Dailey’s Masonry for restoration of the Broadway Avenue fountain ($2,000) and restoration/repair for the Wellsville bridge ($1,575).
The remaining breakdown, as provided by Fiscal Officer Hoi Black, included $420 to Bill’s Service for cruiser door repair; $1,750 to Decatour Electronics for a radar gun for the police department; $58.05 to Dollar General for cleaning supplies; $500 to Lash Paving for cold mix for patching potholes; $160 to NAPA for hydraulic line and parts for a backhoe; $223.95 to Pytash for a chainsaw and a new chain; $94.32 to The Review for legal notices for the sale of the village’s Ford F-450 truck; $231.15 to Southeastern Equipment for a replacement window for the driver’s side door of the backhoe; $292.96 to T and T Exhaust for cruiser repair of the K-9 vehicle; $819.07 to Vans Law Enforcement for a gun blazer, light and holster; $99.99 for an Epson printer for the police chief’s office; and $104.99 to Walmart for a external hard drive for backup of a computer system.
The radar gun purchased, it was explained, is a traditional radar gun utilized by police officers, and is not the same model provided by Blue Line Solutions for the village’s traffic camera enforcement program.
Along with the fountain restoration and repair of the bridge, Dailey’s Masonry also will handle painting on the bridge, which Mayor Nancy Murray said would be a green color.
As for the Bill’s Service bill, it was explained a door on the cruiser had come off its hinges.
