OHIO LABORERS’ UNION DONATION
The Ohio Laborers’ Union recently donated $1,000 to the Fraternal Order of Police Quaker Lodge 88 in Columbiana County as part of its holiday gift-giving to local charities, donating to 24 distinct charities across the state, bringing their total contributions to nearly $100,000 and showing the union’s commitment to improving the well-being of the communities where its members live and work. The donations were made possible through the cooperation of 22 Local Union Halls, their signatory contractors and various industry partners, culminating with a successful charity golf scramble organized by Ohio Laborers-Employer Cooperation and Education Trust (LECET) and the Ohio Contractors Association this past August at Deer Ridge Golf Course in Belleville.
