EAST PALESTINE — The Columbiana boys and girls are showing their strength at the Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference Track and Field Meet.

Both teams repeated as league champions during Saturday’s meet at Reid Stadium.

The Clipper boys won four events, including two of the last three individual races by Liam Surgenavic in the 800 meters and Eric Hepner in the 3200 meters, to capture the team title with 152 points. United finished second for the second year in a row after winning the first five league meets.

The Columbiana girls captured five events, paced by double-winner Camille Jeffries, to take the team title with 170 2/3 points. Southern was second with 107.
