RICHMOND — Mattie Carney tossed a no-hitter with 11 strikeouts and no walks as Oak Glen beat Edison 10-0 in five innings on Tuesday.

Danica Holden had a home run, single and three RBIs for the winners, 7-4. Kayla Wright had two hits and four RBIs. Carney had two hits including a double. Addie Smith and Mikalyn Balch had two hits each.

Oak Glen is at Weir today.

UNITY — East Palestine’s softball team rolled to a 13-3 win over East Liverpool in five innings on Tuesday at Ace of Diamonds.

Taylor Foster had three hits including a double with three RBIs for the Bulldogs. Maddison Foster had two hits including a triple with two RBIs. Sydney Jurjavcic had three hits and two RBIs, while Alivia Magness had a single, double and three RBIs.

Kennedy Andre had nine strikeouts and a walk in the winning effort.

Cate Davis and Addie Jones had doubles for East Liverpool, 2-6.

East Liverpool hosts Beaver Local today.

East Palestine (2-1) hosts Columbiana in a doubleheader today.

COLUMBIANA — Columbiana smashed 25 hits in a 20-0 win over Wellsville on Tuesday in Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference play.

Ella Dota hit for the cycle with five hits including a first-inning home run, triple, double and six RBIs for the Clippers. Maryn Hepler, Caitlynn Pleska, Cameron Perkins, Alivia Bell and Kyla Hogan each had three hits.

Pleska was the winning pitcher with eight strikeouts and no walks in three innings. Perkins struck out three in a scoreless inning.

Madelyn Landess had the Tigers’ lone hit, a third-inning single. Makayla Landess took the loss as she struck out three and walked two in five innings.

Columbiana (4-3, 1-0) is set to play a doubleheader at East Palestine today.

Wellsville fell to 1-2 and 1-2 in the league.

Wellsville travels to United for a doubleheader Saturday.

Lisbon vs. Southern (DH)

LISBON –Lisbon and Southern split a doubleheader on Tuesday in Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference play

In the first game, Lisbon used a 14-run second inning to cruise to a 19-3 win in five innings.

Emelia Cook had two doubles and four RBIs. Abby Ammon had three hits and five RBIs.

Kamryn Peruchetti got the win with six strikeouts and two walks in five innings.

For Southern, Raelea Carosiello had a double.

Jones took the loss with no strikeouts and six walks in an inning of work.

In the second game, Southern edged out a 6-5 win in four innings. Gianna Pecorelli had a home run and two RBIs for the winners who had just three hits.

Addy Martin was the winning pitcher with two walks and no strikeouts.

Delaney Pickens had a home run for Lisbon. Peruchetti had two hits. Lexi Roush took the loss with a strikeout and a walk in an inning.

Lisbon (1-6) is at Steubenville Catholic Central on Thursday.

Southern (1-3) is at Toronto on Friday.
