Oak Glen takes sixth at state

LEWISBURG, W.Va. — Oak Glen’s wrestling team finished in sixth place at the Class A-AA West Virginia Dual Team State Championships on Friday at the West Virginia State Fairgrounds.

Oak Glen lost its opener 42-33 to Independence. It then turned around and beat Braxton County 61-18 in a consolation semifinal. In the fifth place match Oak Glen fell to Herbert Hoover 39-33.

Point Pleasant beat Ripley 36-34 in the final.
