Potters clear 10th hurdle

ST. CLAIRSVILLE — East Liverpool’s boys basketball team reached the 10-win mark with a 73-55 win over St. Clairsville on Saturday.

The Potters got 14 points from Tresean Jackson and 12 more from Cole Dailey to lead the way. Brennan O’Hara also had 12 points and Timmy Neal tallied 10.

East Liverpool is 10-3 as virtue of being the Buckeye 8 North champion will meet St. Clairsville, the Buckeye 8 South champion, again on Feb. 1 at Edison for the Buckeye 8 overall title.

The two teams may also play again in the OVAC Class 4A tournament.

Nate Harris led the Red Devils with 24 points.

East Liverpool hosts Steubenville on Friday.
