Greathouse powers Wellsville past United

WELLSVILLE — Freshman Isaiah Greathouse arrived for Wellsville.

Trailing 26-19 at halftime, Greathouse scored all 18 of his points in the second half to lead the Tigers past United, 63-50, Tuesday.

Wellsville improves to 6-6 overall and 4-3 in the Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference. United is 0-12 and 0-7 EOAC.

Darien Suggs contributed 20 points, seven rebounds and four assists to the winning effort. Luke Green had 14 points, seven rebounds and four steals and Jaxon Brewer nine points, five rebounds and four steals. Greathouse also had six assists in one of his top games of the season.

United was paced by Nate Miller with a game-high 22 points and 12 rebounds and Keaton Baker with 14 points.

Both teams play Friday as Wellsville visits East Palestine and United travels to league co-leader Columbiana.

WELLSVILLE — Ten United players scored baskets as the Eagles raced past Wellsville, 63-17, Tuesday.

Bailey Boosz scored 13 points and Taylor Cope 12 to lead United.

The Eagles led 29-9 at halftime and 50-11 after three quarters.

United improves to 9-7 overall and 5-3 in the Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference.

Camryn Jackson led the Tigers with six points on a pair of three-pointers.

United hosts East Liverpool on Thursday, while Wellsville travels to East Palestine on Monday.
