Tigers surge past Potters

EAST LIVERPOOL — Wellsville’s baseball team got an all-around effort in a 7-4 win over East Liverpool on Monday.

Cole Corbin had two hits and three RBIs for the Tigers (6-6) while Connor Ramsey had two hits and two RBIs including an inside-the-park home run. Justin Thirtyacre added two hits. Seth Kerner was the winning pitcher on the mound with 11 strikeouts. For the Potters, Kamren Klakos had three hits and three RBIs.

Wellsville hosts United today.

East Liverpool (1-17) hosts Brooke today.

Lisbon 12, Leetonia 2

LEETONIA–The Lisbon baseball team routed Leetonia 12-2 on Monday. The Blue Devils are now 8-8 overall and 4-5 in the Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference.

Blake Reynolds, Logan Bell, Justin Sweeney and Tyler Welsh all collected two hits for Lisbon. Sweeney had two RBIs. Bell tripled.

Sefton Houlette and Brock Simpson each had two hits for Leetonia.

The two teams play against today at Lisbon.
