Deputies responded Friday night to a report of a suspicious car and shots fired in the area of Hoffee and Speidel roads. No one was found in the area.

John Bandy, Hartley Road, Alliance, reported arriving home Friday afternoon to find his back screen door open but the main door locked. Inside, he found drawers and closets in disarray and a television missing. Money was also taken from a desk drawer.

Becky Tolson, Freeman Road, Lisbon, reported illegal dumping on her road, with a large amount of trash found scattered the entire length.

Sarah Oaks, Austintown, reported she and a friend have horses at a rental property on Depot Road in Salem and a tenant to whom an eviction notice was issued was threatening to take their horses, claiming to have paperwork showing ownership. Deputies spoke to the woman, telling her not to be on the property where the horses are located or face being charged with criminal trespass. She was advised if she wishes to claim the horses, she will have to file a claim in court.

Ivory Stevens, Glasgow Road, Lisbon, reported Friday that, for the past four days at about 8 a.m., her neighbors begin shooting from their porch in a way she believes is unsafe. She was advised to call as soon as they begin shooting so deputies can respond while they are present.

A vehicle owned by Ken Seeley, Steubenville-Pike, Salineville, was scraped by another vehicle while parked at Rogers Community Auction Friday.

Danielle Wright, Echo Valley Road, Lisbon, reported her debit card used twice in the Canfield area for a total of $14, saying she must have lost it sometime within the previous week.

Deputies were asked to check a woman on state Route 45, Lisbon, after her brother advised he knew she was inside but he could not get her to come to the door in response to his knocking. They found she was fine.

Debbie Brown, an employee of the Rogers Save-A-Lot, reported the Pepsi machine at the store broken into, with all the money taken.

James Jennings, Foundry Hill Road, Hanoverton, reported Saturday his ground blind and trail camera were stolen from the woods, along with chairs that were in the blind and padlocks.

Janice Kirk, Metz Road, New Waterford reported Saturday an acquaintance from Salineville was at her home and assaulted her by grabbing her throat and pushing her against the kitchen counter. She had a red mark on her throat and a bruise on her elbow, according to deputies, who said she declined to press charges.

Jan Ingledue, Wayne Bridge Road, Lisbon, reported a person she knows was on her property with two of his friends, even though she has told him to stay off the property in the past. Deputies spoke with the 19-year-old and told him to stay off Ingledue's property or face criminal trespass charges, and he agreed.

William Osbourne, Elkton Road, Lisbon, reported finding his trash can destroyed and lying down the road from his driveway. It had been sitting at the end of his lane the previous night.
