Thanks to the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office
To the editor:
Dear Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office,
Thank you for your generous contribution of $2,169 to Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana through another successful Tag Day hosted on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019. We are inspired by the commitment each year from your community and team to support wishes for children in Northeast Ohio.
We want to acknowledge the individuals who have gone beyond the call, to ensure continued support for our mission.
Special thank you to the following: Ret. Sgt. Kenny Biacco, John Bucher, Vickie Bucher, Deputy Willie Coleman, Amie Hartman, Sgt. Jeff Haugh, Sue Haugh, Sgt. Brandon Hoppel, Deputy Hartley Malone, Ret. Deputy Larry Paynter, Lizzy Price, Sgt. Kevin Shulas, and Ret. Lt. Andy Sweeney.
Your donation helps grant the heartfelt wishes of families like 17-year-old Austin who wished to go to Italy to learn about Italian cooking. His mother shared, “Watching Austin interact with the chefs with such an increased sense of self confidence is something I will treasure forever.”
The impact of a wish — and the hope, strength and joy it brings — is both powerful and lasting. Your donations make wishes come true. As you remember someone close to your heart, it is inspirational to know that you are helping make a child’s wish come true.
We look forward to sharing with you the impact of your meaningful gift and assure you that we will be working hard to grant the heartfelt wishes of local children. Thank you for making wishes like Austin’s come true.
Kristin M. Okel,
Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana
