Thanks and Spanks

THANKS, writes a reader, to the good Samaritans who stopped to help when I fell on the sidewalk on 5th Street in East Liverpool. Your kindness and caring will never be forgotten. It’s nice to know there are such wonderful people.

THANKS, writes a reader, to East Liverpool’s new mayor, Greg Bricker, for exhibiting professional leadership. So many of us appreciate the change you have brought. Keep up the good work and we are praying for you as you continue to make hard decisions that are in the best interest of our city.

SPANKS, writes a reader, to the many people who insist on going to stores and buying everything, whether you need it or not. You don’t have to be selfish.

THANKS, writes a reader, to all the grocery stores, pharmacies, large and small businesses who have remained opened. More importantly, a salute to all their employees who show up every day so that we have access to needed supplies during this crisis. You are deeply appreciated. May God shed His grace upon us and on the whole world.
