Thanks and Spanks
SPANKS, writes a reader, to the Irondale Mayor for not announcing council meetings. Not everyone gets the newspaper.
THANKS, writes a reader, to the honest person who turned in my cell phone at the Calcutta Giant Eagle on Aug. 23. I’m not sure if I lost it in the store or the parking lot, but I was in a panic when I realized I no longer had it. I was pleasantly surprised to discover someone had turned it in. Thank you for being so honest.
SPANKS, writes a reader, to the mother who did nothing and said nothing as she watched her preschool aged child approach a friendly stray cat in a local business lot and kick it for no reason. It is shameful what are we teaching and/or not teaching our kids these days.
