Lisa Buchanan

1959-2025

Lisa Buchanan, 65, of East Liverpool, passed Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025, at Cleveland Clinic following a lengthy illness.

Born June 15, 1959, in East Liverpool, she was the daughter of Richard Lee and Linda Jean Kayhill Scott.

Lisa graduated Salutatorian from East Liverpool High School Class of 1977. She was the former owner of Scotty’s Bar in East Liverpool.

Lisa had a generous heart, and she enjoyed volunteering for the special Olympics and Robert Bycroft. She preferred to spend her days by her swimming pool or at the beach. Although her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.

She will be deeply missed by her husband, Richard Buchanan, whom she married on May 20, 2006, in addition to her daughters, Jennifer Ramsey and Alycia Gates; grandchildren, Rayden Deem, Brandon and Madison Gates; great-granddaughter, Amelia Thrasher; brothers, Rich, Randy and Raymond Scott, and sister, Leah Beth Scott.

A private visitation will be held at the convenience of her family. Arrangements were entrusted with the Arner Funeral Chapel.
