Audrey L. Geer

Audrey L. Geer, 88, of New Cumberland, passed away at East Liverpool City Hospital on Monday, Nov. 25, 2024. She was born in Chester on Dec. 11, 1935, to the late Vernon and Virginia Smith Sprout.

Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, David Geer Sr., as well as her siblings: Carole Rude, Dick Sprout, Jack Sprout, Orma Hayden, and Donna Williams.

A graduate of Chester High School, Audrey later retired from Homer Laughlin China Company. She was a devoted Christian by faith. Audrey cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and canning, and she was always ready to help those in need.

Audrey will be deeply missed by her daughter, Linda Hall, and her husband, Jim, of Newell; her son, David Geer Jr., and his wife, Brenda, of New Cumberland; her grandchildren, Trudy Swiger (Adam), Trisha Barlie (Josh), Tasha Beatty (Brock), and Tracey Leslie (Todd); as well as her great-grandchildren, Addison and Elijah Swiger, Brodi Barlie, Ryder, Landon, and Haille Beatty, and Case and Allie Leslie.

Private services were held at the convenience of the family, and entombment took place at Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens.

Audrey’s arrangements were entrusted with the Arner Funeral Chapel.
