William ‘Bill’ Maruca
NEWELL, W.Va. — William “Bill” Maruca, 65, of Newell, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021.
Born April 28, 1955 in East Liverpool, Ohio, he was the son of the late Charles and Donna (Weeks) Maruca.
Bill graduated in 1973 from Oak Glen High School. He was an Electrical Engineer for Homer Laughlin China Company.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Greathouse; a brother, Charles Maruca and a brother-in-law, Sid Muskgrove.
Surviving are his loving wife, Roberta (Shreves) Maruca of Newell; a daughter, Kacey (William) Eagle of South Carolina; two sons, Adam Maruca of Wintersville and Andrew Maruca of Newell; four brothers, Nick (Lora) Maruca, John (Daisey) Maruca, Gary (Darla) Maruca all of New Cumberland and Paul (Rene) Maruca of Texas; two sisters, Betsy Muskgrove of Akron and D.J. Jons (Galen) of South Dakota; three grandchildren, Zachary (Alexandra), Alexander Chase, and Brooklyn; one great-grandchild, Ella Jade and his canine companion, “Bailey.”
Visitation is Thursday, February 25, 2021, from 11a.m. until time of funeral service at 2 p.m., at the Nixon Funeral Home, Newell, WV. Interment will follow at Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens, Newell, WV.
The family request in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Bill’s name to Valley Hospice, 10686 State RT 150, Rayland, Ohio.
