Richard ‘Dick’ Jackson
EAST LIVERPOOL — Richard “Dick” Jackson, 69, of East Liverpool, passed away December 1, 2020.
Born in East Liverpool, Ohio on May 25, 1951, he was the son of the late Charles and Pearl (Fryman) Jackson.
Dick graduated from Beaver Local High School. He served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a security Guard for Schell. He held membership with the Chester VFW and attended the Church of Latter Day Saints.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Kevin and Jim Jackson.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret (Everson) Jackson of East Liverpool; four sons, Milo Jackson of Florida, Matthew (Sarah) Jackson of Georgia, Brandon Jackson of East Liverpool and Chance (Jaycee) Jackson of East Liverpool; two daughters, Heather Morley of Connecticut and Brandi Sorrentino of Salem; 14 grandchildren; a brother, Gary Jackson of East Liverpool; and a feline “Cookie.”
Visitation will be held at the Nixon Funeral Home, Newell, WV, from 3-6 p.m. on Friday, December 4, 2020, with funeral service following at 6 p.m. Military service will be conducted by the American Legion Post 121-VFW Post 6450 Honor Guard.
The family request in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
