FOLLANSBEE — Ronald Alfred Seevers, 75, of Follansbee, W.Va., died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2020 at home.
Born on April 19, 1944 in East Liverpool, he was a son of the late Arthur A. and Virginia M. (McLaughlin) Seevers.
He was a 1962 graduate of East Liverpool High School and served in the U.S. Army in Korea during the Vietnam War. A Baptist by faith, he was retired as an electrician from First Energy.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy (Lyle) Seevers, two brothers, Jack and Bruce Seevers, and an infant sister.
Survivors include three sons, Ronald A. Seevers of Copperas, Texas; Chad E. (Kristy) Seevers of Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Michael (Jennifer) Seevers, of Follansbee; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert (Darlene) Seevers and Paul Seevers both of Angier, N.C.; and a sister, Pam (Russell) Blackburn of East Liverpool.
Services were held Feb. 1, 2020 at Mullenbach Funeral Home in Follansbee, W.Va. Private burial took place in Columbiana County Memorial Park, with Military Honors conducted by the Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad.
