EAST LIVERPOOL — Naomi Stover, 91 of East Liverpool, Ohio passed away on Monday, Feb. 10, 2020 at the Salem Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
Born in East Liverpool on May 5, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Mary Alice (Martin) Russell. Living her entire life in this area, Naomi was a 1946 graduate of East Liverpool High School and worked for the Homer Laughlin China Company for 38 years, retiring in 1990. She was a member of Emmanuel Presbyterian Church, a former member of the Triangle Seniors, the Gold Air Seniors, Tops #1390, and was active in the East Liverpool Alumni and Presbyterian Women’s Club.
She is survived by two daughters: Kathy Beadnell and her husband Dr. Stephen Beadnell of East Liverpool, and Deborah Hall of East Liverpool,; two grandchildren: Michael R. and Kathy Hissam of Lisbon, and Ryan Collins of Charlotte, N.C. and her three great-grandchildren: Roscoe Michael, Reese Marie Hissam and Sophi Grace Collins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William R. Stover whom she married May 20, 1950; a brother: Robert Russell and a son-in-law: Lou Hall.
Services will be held at the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes in Calcutta on Friday, Feb. 14, 2020 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Margie Zellars of the church officiating. Burial will take place in Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens.
Family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home in Calcutta on Friday, Feb. 14, 2020 from 11 a.m. up until the time of service at 1 p.m. A reception will be held at the Emmanuel Presbyterian Church immediately following the service.
