Lillian H. Frischkorn
EAST LIVERPOOL — Lillian H. Frischkorn, 94, of East Liverpool, formerly of Wellsville, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2020, at East Liverpool City Hospital.
She was born Dec. 19, 1925, in Weirton, W. Va., the daughter of the late Price and Della (Rhoades) Wiley. In addition to her parents, Lillian was preceded in death on Jan. 24, 2013, by her husband, William M. Frischkorn, whom she married Nov. 19, 1951. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Glenn Wiley, and her granddaughter, Heidi Frischkorn.
Lillian graduated from Jefferson Union High School in Richmond, Ohio. She served in the United States Navy from 1950-1952 during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion Post 70 in Wellsville. She was a homemaker and gardener who loved tending to her home garden with her husband, Bill. Lillian was a member of Oak Ridge Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include two sons: William R. Frischkorn and his wife, Patricia, of Wellsville, and Glenn E. Frischkorn and his wife, Susan, of Wellsville. Also surviving are two grandchildren: Heather (Frischkorn) Elmobasher and her husband, Dr. Gamal Elmobasher, of Deerfield, Ohio, and Eric Frischkorn and his fiancee, Danielle McLoughlin, of Harpers Ferry, W.Va.; four great-grandchildren: Emma and CJ Brock, and Emily and Will Elmobasher; a special niece, Marsha Woodward of Wellsville; and a special nephew, Mark Wiley and his wife, Amy, and daughter, Kayla, who took special care of Lillian’s dog, Mickey.
According to Lillian’s wishes, no services will be held.
Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
