TORONTO — Audrey Jean Prosser, 92, of Toronto passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at her home.
She was born Sept. 28, 1926 in Toronto the daughter of the late John W. Burns and Mae Burns (Morgan) Nellans.
She was a member of the Toronto First Church of the Nazarene.
She was a 1945 graduate of Toronto High School and along with her husband Clarence “Frog” Prosser was a co-owner of Frog’s Place in Toronto.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence “Frog” Prosser; sister, Betty Elson, and brother, Bill Burns.
She is survived by her children, John Prosser, Paul Prosser and Linda Winstel all of Toronto; eight grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a sister, Shirley Breckenrige of Industry, Pa.
Visitation hours will be held 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Saturday July, 13 and from 12 -1 p.m. Sunday, July 14th at the Clarke Funeral Home, Main St., Toronto.
A celebration of life service will be held 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Reverend Eric Frey officiating. Interment will follow at the Toronto Union Cemetery.
