Duane C. Rosenlieb, Sr.

WELLSVILLE — Duane C. Rosenlieb, Sr., 85, of Wellsville, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2019, at his home.

He was born March 31, 1934, in Stratton, the son of the late Arthur F. and Helen (Hays) Rosenlieb.

He married his high school sweetheart, Ruth (Pelley) Rosenlieb, on Oct. 4, 1954, and spent over sixty-three years loving her.

He graduated from Toronto High School in 1951 and continued his education at Ohio Valley Business College where he completed his degree in 1954. He was employed for thirty-eight years as a pipefitter for Titanium Metals in Toronto before his retirement in 1996.

He enjoyed meeting his friends at Mountaineer Racetrack and playing the horses. He was a golfer and an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns and Indians. He was very proud of his children, and his grandchildren, who were the loves of his life.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by one daughter, Doreen Allison, NP, of East Liverpool; one son, Duane Rosenlieb, Jr., Esq. and his wife, Heather, of St. Alban, WV; two sisters: Glenda (Frank) Miller and Jane Rosenlieb; and two grandchildren: Caitlyn Rose Allison and her significant other, David Chelette, and Dylan Rosenlieb. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2019, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Elder Cindy James officiating.

Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Friends may call from 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
