Robert Miller

LISBON– Robert E. Miller, Sr., 86, of North Beaver Street, passed away at 5:55 p.m, Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Salem West Health Care Center following a recent illness.

He was born Sept. 14, 1932 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Emmett W. and Lola May (Hobbday) Miller.

He owned his own construction company and built many large and beautiful homes in and about the Pittsburgh area in the 1950’s. He was a minister of the Gospel for over 40 years. He served as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Martha S. (Elder) Miller, two sisters, Trina and Lola, and five brothers, Thomas, Norman, Lester, Lawrence and Donald.

He is survived by his daughters, Marsha Kaskie of Lisbon, Ohio and Kimberly Fecek of Erie, Pennsylvania; son, Robert Miller, Jr. of Tennessee; brother, William Miller of Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Following his wishes, no calling hours or funeral services will be observed.

He will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife, Martha on Wednesday afternoon at the Lisbon Cemetery.

The Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home has been entrusted with his arrangements.
