Louis M. Hull
ELYRIA — Louis M. Hull, 82, of Elyria, passed away Friday, March 8, 2019 at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake.
Born July 1, 1936 in East Liverpool, he was the son of the late Harry and Ethel Hull (nee Ferguson).
Louis was a science teacher for the Elyria school system, where he also coached wrestling for Northwood Jr. High School and Elyria High School. He also worked many summers for Allied Van Lines. He enjoyed golfing, taking walks, and a love of Dogs. Louis was co-owner of Heights Video with his best friend and nephew William Pierson.
Survivors include daughters Kathryn (Timothy) Orantek of Elyria; Jennifer (Ralph) Reed of Avon; son Gregory (Karen) of Elyria; step-children Melissa (Christopher) Renner, Ryan Spickler; six grandchildren Brian, MacKenzie, and Alexander Hull, Jesse and Quinten Orantek and Thomas Reed; sister Patricia (George) Thiel, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson Brandon Hull; four brothers and two sisters.
Family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2019 for a Celebration of Louis’s life at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at state Route 57), Elyria. 440-322-4626. Burial will be private.
