EAST LIVERPOOL — Donald William Wright, 72, of East Liverpool, passed away Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018, at his home, following a battle with cancer.
Born Aug. 31, 1946, in East Liverpool, he is a son of the late Mary Flowers Wright Call and Donald Wright.
A 1965 graduate of East Liverpool High School, he served in the United States Coast Guard from 1965-79. He was retired from Ohio Edison (First Energy) W.H. Sammis Plant in Stratton.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Ann Varner Wright; sons Joshua Wright of Crofton, Md., and Nicholas Wright of East Liverpool.
The Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester, W.Va., handled arrangements.
