St. Clair Township
— Officers spoke to a couple on March 10 after responding to a report of a fight between a male and female at Planet Fitness. The male said he was leaving and the female said she was staying in her vehicle. Officers noted this is an ongoing situation with these two.
— Officers helped a female who was at a Maple Drive residence, secure entry points to the residence after checking that the house was clear of anybody on March 10. The female called the officers after observing the back door to the house open. Officers noted the house had been ransacked and the entire residence destroyed.
— After receiving a call that a male with outstanding warrants was inside Walmart on March 10, officers arrived and searched the store. They located the person reported and circled in on him. The male said he was not the person with warrants, but that person’s brother. The officers checked the photos of the two men and verified the one they had was not the brother with the warrants and released him.
— A vehicle making a turn out of the H&R Parking lot into the Sheetz on St. Clair Avenue on March 10 did not turn wide enough and stuck the guard rail with the middle/back passenger side of the vehicle causing damage to the vehicle but not to the guard rail. An officer collected the driver’s information for a private property crash report.
— A driver called to report a gray Honda Civic was following then on St. Clair Avenue on March 10 and was attempting to cause the driver to drive off the roadway and crash. Officers went quickly to the area but were not able to make contact with the caller or the Honda. No other information was provided by the caller.
— Officers checked the area of McCoy Avenue for a reported fight on March 11, but found no one fighting.
— A driver was given a verbal warning for equipment malfunction following a March 12 traffic stop on McGuffy Drive.
Sheriff’s Office
— A possible prowler was reported at 4:04 a.m. Saturday on Malone Road, Washington Township, then the callers reported a power pole was down next to their home. When a deputy arrived, the callers said they thought they had heard a prowler, but it appeared the pole had fallen and that was the noise they heard. The area was checked for any other activity. The deputy found the pole appeared to have rotted and fallen over.
— Deputies responded at 2:06 a.m. Saturday to an address on Cream Ridge Road, Elkrun Township, for a complaint of suspicious activity on an email account. Deputies spoke with the person who was concerned about emails he was receiving on an account that was not his. He was told to send the emails to the deputy for further inspection. It was determined the emails were from several years ago when the person and another subject had been speaking to one another.
