Sheriff’s Office

— A deputy was dispatched at 6:03 p.m. Saturday to Hartley Road, Butler Township, for a male who fell off of a ladder. Damascus EMS transported him to Aultman Hospital, Canton.

— The manager from Beaver Creek Mobile Home Park, Brookfield Avenue, Center Township, reported a man was living with a resident without being on the lease agreement. The eviction process was explained to the manager.

— A woman on state Route 164, Fairfield Township, called at 3:01 p.m. Saturday to report an alleged medication issue with the Hometown Pharmacy, Columbiana. She was told to contact the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.

— Deputies were dispatched at 9:07 p.m. Friday to Pinewood Drive, New Waterford for a domestic dispute between a couple. A refusal was signed.

— A woman at Deer Run Mobile Home Park, Salem Alliance Road, Butler Township, reported at 6:52 p.m. Friday that her neighbor’s juvenile son was throwing golf balls at her children. A deputy spoke to the neighbor and advised him to have his son stay away from the woman’s children.

— A woman on West Main Street, Salem Township, reported at 5:04 p.m. Friday that four unknown males were trespassing in the woods on her property, then took off running on foot when spotted. A deputy checked the area, but didn’t find anyone.

— A woman on Walnut Grove Lane, Unity Township requested at 10:31 p.m. Thursday that her son be removed from the residence and property due to him not living there and not being welcome due to past incidents. A deputy spoke to the son, who said he was leaving and left walking on foot.

— A woman on Y Camp Road, Madison Township, reported at 5:48 p.m. Thursday that her roommate told her he was putting a lock on the refrigerator and that she needed to move out. She said she’s not moving out until she’s served with a court order telling her to vacate. She was told the lock on the refrigerator was a civil matter. She was advised of the eviction process.

— A man on Scroggs Road, Elkrun Township, reported at 2:05 p.m. Thursday that he received a call from someone claiming to be from a bank claiming that someone attempted to open an additional account in his name. They had all his bank and personal information and asked him to confirm the information with them. He called the bank back and they advised they did not call him.

— An alarm was reported at 4:18 a.m. Thursday at Thomas Market, First Street, Hanoverton. All doors and windows were found secure at ground level.

— Deputies were dispatched at 1:42 a.m. Thursday to Y Camp Road, Madison Township for a person having mental health issues. Deputies spoke with the person who said they were fine now. They were with family members. The Ohio State Highway Patrol assisted.

— Staff at Taco Bell, state Route 45, Center Township, reported at 12:21 a.m. Thursday that lights were flashing on a bus parked in the lot of the Columbiana County Board of Developmental Disabilities bus garage. Deputies were unable to get into the fenced area where the bus was, noting it appeared the lights were just left on and no buses were damaged.

— Deputies were dispatched at 9:12 p.m. March 17 to Rose Drive, Center Township, Lisbon, regarding a male bleeding all over who did not know what happened. Deputies arrived and stood by until paramedics came on scene. Deputies heard another caller tell the man that he was going to slit his throat. Ronnie Jackson, 67, Rose Drive, Lisbon, was charged with fifth-degree felony aggravated menacing and misdemeanors of aggravated menacing and obstructing official business for allegedly threatening to slit another man’s throat and having a knife when he was searched on March 17 in Center Township. He also failed to fully identify himself when requested by sheriff’s deputies and corrections officers at the jail. His case is pending in county Municipal Court.

— Deputies were dispatched at 6:20 p.m. March 15 to Hillcrest Road, Yellow Creek Township, for a domestic between two people. The male allegedly made multiple gestures like he was going to punch the woman and acting like he was going to burn her face with a cigarette. She wanted him to go to the hospital for an evaluation, but the criteria wasn’t sufficient to send him per Ohio Revised Code. She then asked that he be charged with domestic threats, but later refused to complete a voluntary statement. Robert Altamirano, 35, Hillcrest Road, Wellsville, was charged with domestic violence.

St. Clair Township

— Paul Starkey (age and address not provided) was issued a citation for impeding the flow of traffic following a March 10 traffic stop on Calcutta Smith Ferry Road in front of the Wash-Rite Car Wash.

— An officer transported a male who he saw walking along the side of state Route 170 on March 10 to his residence due to his need to take his depression medication by a certain time. The officer stopped to ask the male if he was okay and the male whom the police have dealt with before for mental incidents asked the officer for a ride so he could get his medication in time.

— Officers checked but did not locate the unknown female reported to be slumped over the steering wheel of a gold sedan on Duke Road on March 10.

— Officers did not locate a white Eclipse reported on March 10 to be driving all over the roadway.

— Officers checked Skyview Manor on March 10 for a water line break reported by an unknown caller and found no water breaks but did find a fire hydrant around the corner on Parkway Avenue in Liverpool Township’s jurisdiction with a hose hooked to with water running into a ditch. Officers advised Liverpool Township.

— A male filed a report with the officer who responded to a call from him at Tractor Supply where he reported his wallet lost or stolen. He said it was after he left the store that he couldn’t find it.

— A female driver who was reported by a Columbiana County Drug Task Force officer to be driving all over the road and almost crashing several times was given a warning after officers talked to her following a March 10 traffic stop on state Route 11.
