— Officers responded to report to two residents having their vehicles vandalized on Chester Avenue on Jan. 26. A male and female told the officers they were awakened by a loud bang but did not see anything when they looked outside. In the morning, they noticed the damage to the vehicles.
— Justin McCauley was being charged with contributing to the unruliness or delinquency of a child, after officers found a juvenile in the car with him during a Jan. 27 traffic stop for malfunctioning/nonworking headlight on Commerce Street. The officers detected an odor and asked McCauley about it. McCauley told officers he had a marijuana vape pen and two nuggets (small balls of marijuana). The juvenile was released into her mother’s custody and the vehicle was towed by First Class Towing.
— Officers responded on Jan. 29 to a Wood Street residence for a report of a vehicle crashing into a garage. The driver of the vehicle said while he swerved to miss a deer, he hit a pothole and swerved hitting the rear of the garage.
— Officers responded to a private property crash at the Crystal Lounge on Main Street on Feb. 2.
