St. Clair Township

— A driver was given a warning for no lights on the rear of the vehicle following a Jan. 12 traffic stop on state Route 11.

— A driver was given a warning for only one working headlight following a Jan. 13 traffic stop on state Route 170.

— A driver was given a verbal warning following a Jan. 13 traffic stop for improper turn on state Route 170.

— Officers noticed a plowed driveway and a disabled vehicle at a house that appeared to be vacant on Grimms Bridge Road when they went to the location on Jan. 13 to talk see if a person of interest to West Virginia Place regarding a missing person was there. The disabled vehicle was registered to the person on question.

East Liverpool

— Officers responded to city hospital on Jan. 8 regarding a female with a stab wound on her arm. Nurses notified police when the female wouldn’t provide them any information. Officers arrived and spoke to the female who said an altercation occurred behind Lenna’s Lounge. The officers obtained a written statement and headed to view cameras from around the location where the incident occurred.

— While checking an alarm at an East 5th Street location on Jan. 8, officers received an emergency call. They checked back on the alarm and spoke with staff who told them everything was all right.

— Police officers called East Liverpool Fire Department who transported a male to the hospital for evaluation on Jan. 8 after the male called police to report a breaking and entering. Police checked the location where the male said people were inside and did not find anyone and found nothing disturb.

— The peer center contacted police on Jan. 8 to speak with a distraught member. Officers spoke with the male who staff said was not being himself. The male said he did not want to harm himself or others and officers told staff members there was nothing they could do at the time but contact them if there were further troubles.

— Officers responded to a multi-vehicle accident on St. Clair Avenue on Jan. 8.

— Officers told a male they would have extra patrols in his area, after he called them on Jan. 8 to report a break-in at his Sophia Street residence. When officers arrived, the male told them he got home and found his doors unlocked.

— Officers responded to an alarm at East Liverpool High School on Jan. 8. Officers checked the perimeter of the school as well as the doors and windows and found them all secure. They were unable to see any signs of damage or foul play.

— An officer spoke with a juvenile and his mother on Jan. 9 at their East 4th Street residence regarding threats the juvenile was receiving by text. Officers are waiting for an email with screenshots of the conversation.

— A female agreed to go to the hospital for evaluation after talking to officers who responded to a report of a female screaming in the middle of Peake Street on Jan. 9. The female appeared to be having a panic attack.

— Neighbors told officers there was no alarm at the 8th Street residence they responded to on Jan. 9 for an alarm drop. Officers checked the building and all was secure.

— Officers found no sign of foul play or damage after checking the doors and residence of the school after responding to an alarm on Jan. 9.

— Richard Rayle, age and address not provided, was issued a citation for failing to use his turn signal following a Jan. 9 traffic stop on state Route 39.

— A male told officers that his bathroom was in his 6th Street apartment was on when they arrived at his residence on Jan. 9. The male told officers the light was off the last time he was at the apartment. Officers searched the apartment and found no signs of damage or foul play.

— Officers collected a bag containing drug paraphernalia, white powder and blue pills from a Giant Eagle employee who reported finding the bag in the exit lobby on Jan. 10. The powder and pills were logged and placed in evidence and marked for destruction.

— A male and female told officers who responded to a panic alarm at their West 6th Street residence that the alarm was an accident. Officers were unable to see any signs of a verbal or physical dispute nor signs of a domestic dispute.

— Officers advised a male to put the dirt bike he was riding up or he could be cited, and it could be towed after conducting a traffic stop on Jan. 10 on Morton Street where they observed him trying to climb a set of stairs with it and ended up laying the bike down.
