LISBON — Michael Gargano, 53, Union Street, Columbiana, was served recently with a secret indictment issued by the Columbiana County Grand Jury for possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony, for allegedly possessing cocaine on March 8, 2024.

LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, cases against Alayah Thornton, 25, Commerce Street, Wellsville, were bound over to the county grand jury for fourth-degree felony assault on a peace officer and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia for allegedly kicking an Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper after being placed under arrest during a traffic stop on Dec. 20 in Fairfield Township. She also allegedly possessed a broken glass smoking pipe with burnt white residue during the initial traffic stop. In another matter, a status hearing was set March 11 and a court trial was set March 20 for Thornton for theft for allegedly stealing five hair products valued at $6.70 and placing them in a backpack without paying for them at Dollar Tree in East Liverpool on May 23, 2024.
Craige Beaver, 34, Rubicon Street, East Liverpool, was fined $200 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 100 days suspended and credit for 23 days served, leaving a balance of 57 days still to serve in jail for domestic violence. He was ordered to complete 30 hours community service and was ordered to have no contact wit the victim. He was accused of striking a woman, stomping on her chest and pulling her hair out of her head while shoving her face into the carpet and dragging her around the home by her hair on Dec. 9 in East Liverpool.
Briana Jo Carlson, 28, New Castle, Colo., was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 80 days suspended and credit for 13 days served, leaving a balance of 87 days still to serve in jail for misdemeanor theft, amended from fifth-degree felony unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. She was ordered to complete 30 hours of community service. She was accused of taking a woman’s vehicle for longer than permitted from Columbiana County sometime in late August. She was allegedly taken into custody on Sept. 3 in Indiana while in possession of the vehicle, which was reported stolen.
Rachael Lee McKinnon, 25, last known address Minerva Street, East Liverpool, was fined $200 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 178 days suspended and credit for two days served for assault. She was ordered to complete 20 hours community service. McKinnon was accused of striking a man twice, once in the nose and once in the lip, with a glass beer bottle on July 21, 2024 in East Liverpool.
A pretrial was set March 27 for Angela Uy, 43, East Third Street, Salem, charged with two counts of domestic violence for allegedly assaulting a man and threatening him with a knife and threatening to cause harm to another female during a domestic on Dec. 31, 2024 in Salem.
A pretrial was set Jan. 16 for Jessica Bragg, 45, Beachwood Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with falsification and domestic violence for allegedly causing or attempting to cause physical harm to a man, sustaining injury to herself as a result of attacking him on Dec. 31, 2024 in East Liverpool.
A pretrial was set Jan. 23 for Bradly Cianni, 38, Chester Avenue, Wellsville, charged with drug paraphernalia and domestic violence for allegedly grabbing a woman by the arms, pulling her hair and punching her inside a vehicle parked outside their home on Dec. 19 in Wellsville. A used glass pipe was found in plain view in his vehicle.
Amy Jo Haines, 33, East Chestnut Street, Lisbon, was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 120 days suspended and credit for 10 days served, leaving a balance of 50 days still to serve for misdemeanor domestic violence, amended from a felony domestic violence. She was ordered to complete 20 hours community service and to have no contact with the victim. Haines caused visible lacerations to a man’s neck during a domestic on Dec. 23 in Lisbon.
A pretrial was set Jan. 23 for Lane Phillips, 20, Ohio Avenue, Salem, charged with menacing, obstructing justice, resisting arrest and obstructing official business for his actions on Dec. 31, 2024 in Salem at the intersection of East Pershing Street and Ohio Avenue when he knew a juvenile relative was wanted by police, knew he had run away and provided safe harbor to him, cheering him on as he ran from officers and also calling them names. When officers were trying to identify him for allegedly obstructing officers in the arrest of his juvenile relative, he refused to provide his name or identification, calling the officer talking to him derogatory names and telling another relative not to tell the officer anything. He pulled away from the officer detaining him and allegedly squared up in a fighting stance with two closed fists and had to be threatened with escalation of force to comply, resulting in the menacing charge. He allegedly physically resisted when taken into custody and kicked the officer, requiring a second officer to assist in handcuffing him.
A pretrial was set Jan. 21 for Jason Ours, 24, Bluff Street, East Liverpool, charged with violation of a protection order for allegedly being at a residence in East Liverpool on Jan. 2 in violation of the terms of a protection order issued in May.
A sentencing hearing was set Jan.16 for Albert Fullerton, 62, Broadway Avenue, Wellsville, who pleaded no contest and was found guilty of violation of a protection order for allegedly being at a residence in East Liverpool on Jan. 1 in violation of the terms of a protection order issued in July.
A pretrial was set April 7 for Leonard Lewis, 51, New Middletown, charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with a female in exchange for $80, traveling to East Palestine on Dec. 31, 2024 for the meeting with the phone used to make the arrangements in his possession.

Alvin Everson, 21, Fairview Street, East Liverpool, was fined $100 and sentenced to five days in jail, with credit for five days served, for criminal trespass for being at Heights Manor apartments on Oct. 5, 2024 after being previously trespassed from the property.
A pretrial was set Jan. 13 for Michael Johnson, 47, First Street, Wellsville, charged with drug paraphernalia for allegedly possessing an eyeglass case with white powder on it and a pill bottle with white pills inside during a traffic stop on July 19, 2024 in St. Clair Township. A probation violation hearing was also set Jan. 13 for a drug paraphernalia charge.
A sentencing hearing was set Jan. 21 for Michael Williams, 54, Pennsylvania Avenue, East Liverpool, who pleaded no contest and was found guilty of five counts of failure to file city income tax return. Williams was accused of failing to file East Liverpool city income tax returns from 2019 through 2022 and from 2024.
A sentencing hearing was set Jan. 21 for Hayley Blystone, 29, Pennsylvania Avenue, East Liverpool, who pleaded no contest and was found guilty of six counts of failure to file city income tax return. Blystone was accused of failing to file East Liverpool city income tax returns from 2019 through 2024.
A pretrial was set March 17 for Gerald Konn, 64, Stow, charged with operating a vehicle impaired first offense and reasonable control.
Michael Angiuli, 35, West South Range Road, Columbiana, was fined $960 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended and credit for three days served in a driver intervention program, for physical control amended from OVI, license plate light and speeding. His driver’s license was suspended for one year, with driving privileges granted. He was ordered to complete 20 hours community service.
Robert Dickson, 45, last known address Malone Road, Salineville, was fined $625 for use of unauthorized plate, speeding, no seat belt and three counts of driving under suspension.
A pretrial was set March 31 for Daniel Morelli, 62, Elm Street, Leetonia, charged with driving under suspension and back up lights required.
A pretrial was set Jan. 27 for Dylan Bredeck, 23, Denver Street, East Liverpool, charged with use of unauthorized plate and driving under suspension.
A pretrial was set March 6 for Tiffany Herron, 40, Saline Street, Irondale, charged with driving under suspension and use of unauthorized plate.
A pretrial was set Jan. 23 for Kristina Avis, 40, Jefferson Street, Salineville, charged with no license and failure to display plates.
Tyler Hefner, 21, Vine Street, East Liverpool, was fined $300 for driving under suspension and loud exhaust.
Ray Heverly, 84, Heritage Drive, Beloit, was fined $25 for driving onto roadway from place other than roadway.
Cory Dine, 24, Rose Avenue, Salem, was fined $50 for loud exhaust, with a charge of driving under suspension dismissed.
Haley Steves, 28, Commerce Street, Wellsville, was fined $350 for driving under suspension.
Bryan Malone, 36, Grimms Bridge Road, East Liverpool, was fined $25 for unauthorized plate.
