LISBON — A Wellsville man was ordered to prison for four to six years for multiple drug counts from two separate indictments after appearing for sentencing recently in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court.

Dustin Hambleton, 39, Y & O Road, received concurrent terms, to be served all at the same time, for charges of: aggravated possession of drugs, a second-degree felony; possession of cocaine, a fourth-degree felony; aggravated possession of drugs and possession of drugs, both fifth-degree felonies; and having weapons while under disability, a third-degree felony, in one case, along with misdemeanor illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia and a third-degree felony tampering with evidence charge from another case.

He received credit for one day served in one case and 114 days served in the other case. He was also fined $7,500.

One case involved him throwing a pipe on the floor of a pizza business after jumping out of his vehicle during a traffic stop on Sept. 22, 2022 in St. Clair Township.

The other charges all stemmed from Jan. 2, 2022 when Hambleton possessed methamphetamine equal or exceeding five times the bulk amount but less than 50 times the bulk amount, possessed cocaine equal or exceeding 5 grams but less than 10 grams, possessed amphetamine and buprenorphine and had a gun despite being prohibited from having one due to a previous drug conviction.

Charges of aggravated trafficking in drugs and trafficking in cocaine will be dismissed.

Also in Common Pleas Court:

— Paul Miller, 29, Warsaw, was sentenced to six months in prison for attempted compelling prostitution and attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, both fourth-degree felonies, and importuning, a fifth-degree felony, with credit for three days already served. A charge of possessing criminal tools was dismissed. Miller was accused of soliciting sexual conduct from an undercover Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force agent posing as a 15-year-old female in exchange for $80, driving to Salem on July 25, 2022 for the meeting.

— Kami Rotelli, 47, Niles, was sentenced to 90 days in the county jail, with credit for 16 days served, leaving 74 days to serve, for violating probation for nonsupport of dependents, a fifth-degree felony. Rotelli failed to pay for child support for one child from May 31, 2020 through May 29, 2022.

— Ty Austin Adams, 26, Bacon Avenue, East Palestine, had his treatment plan terminated for violations, but will remain under community control for two counts of possession of marijuana, a fifth-degree felony, for possessing marijuana on June 24, 2021.

— Rodney Allen Carter, 41, College Street, East Liverpool, was sentenced to 200 days in the county jail, with credit for 101 days already served, after pleading guilty to trafficking in cocaine and trafficking in counterfeit controlled substances, both fifth-degree felonies. The charges stem from Aug. 30, 2019 when Carter sold or offered to sell cocaine and counterfeit cocaine.

— Donald Riggs, 45, Wilbert Avenue, East Liverpool, was placed on probation for four years with a requirement to serve six months at the Eastern Ohio Correction Center for two counts aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, for possessing methamphetamine on June 4, 2020 and Aug. 21, 2020.

— Joseph Koffel, 54, Harvey Avenue, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, and was sentenced to six months in prison for possessing methamphetamine on Oct. 9, 2021. The sentence for this case is to be served at the same time as an 18-month prison term Koffel received in January for a third-degree felony domestic violence charge for causing physical harm to a woman on May 22, 2021.
