LISBON — A preliminary hearing was set Oct. 24 for Danielle Rauch, 26, Cleveland Street, Salem, charged with domestic violence, a fifth-degree felony, for allegedly assaulting her pregnant sister by punching, kicking, choking and threatening her on Sept. 14 at a Hunter Camp Road, Lisbon residence.
A preliminary hearing was set Sept. 29 for Craig Coffman, East State Street, Salem, charged with a third-degree felony of tampering with evidence for allegedly throwing a large bag of dangerous drugs from his pocket into a school parking lot on East Pershing Street in Salem on Sept. 20 when police stopped him and his girlfriend to place them in custody for warrants. The evidence was discovered after they were both placed in custody when a teacher pointed out the bag in the parking lot.
A preliminary hearing was set Sept. 26 for Jon Erik Huff, 36, Youngstown, charged with a third-degree felony compelling prostitution and a fifth-degree felony possessing criminal tools and a misdemeanor of engaging in prostitution for allegedly answering an undercover ad placed on a known prostitution website by police, making arrangements to have sexual conduct with an adult female and watch activities between the adult female and a juvenile female in exchange for money. He drove to East Palestine on Sept. 21 for the meeting. His bond was set at $15,000 cash or surety and he was ordered to have no contact with any children.
A preliminary hearing was set Sept. 29 for Michael Bair, 41, New Middletown, charged with grand theft, a fourth-degree felony, for allegedly stealing an ATV belonging to a Heck Road resident in Unity Township on Aug. 13, 2021.
A pretrial was set Nov. 1 for Tiffany Sattler, 31, Commerce Street, Wellsville, charged with abuse of a corpse for allegedly being one of the people who moved the body of a deceased drug overdose victim on March 22, 2021 in Wellsville, allegedly telling one person that she didn’t call emergency personnel because she had a warrant for her arrest.
David Iseminger, New Brighton, Pa., was fined $750 for engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for using his cell phone to solicit sexual acts in exchange for $80 from an undercover officer posing as a female and traveling to East Palestine on Dec. 22 for the meeting.
A pretrial was set Sept. 29 for Alyssa Sluter, 31, Sharp Street, Salem, charged with obstructing official business for allegedly failing to follow police commands while a search warrant was being conducted at a Salem residence on Sept. 20, running into bathroom and hiding inside a closet.
A pretrial was set Sept. 29 for Robert Endres, 33, Rose Drive, Lisbon, charged with domestic violence for allegedly putting his arm around a woman’s neck and choking her on Sept. 21 in Lisbon.
A pretrial was set Nov. 28 for Joan Wellendorf Clark, 54, Harrison Avenue, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly firing a BB gun at her brother, Doug Davidson, during a domestic dispute on Jan. 20 in Salem.
A pretrial was set Sept. 26 for Cody Hostetter, 21, whose last known address was North Pleasant Drive, East Palestine, charged with obstructing official business and two counts of illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, with bond set at $10,000 cash or surety. Hostetter allegedly failed to follow commands while a search warrant was being conducted at a Salem residence on Sept. 20, running into the front of the house away from officers who identified themselves. One drug charge stemmed from Hostetter allegedly using or possessing drug paraphernalia on May 7 inside a garage on Grant Street, Salem. The other charge stemmed from a baggie of crystal-like substance under the passenger seat where Hostetter was sitting during a July 26 traffic stop in Salem, and a similar baggie inside his backpack.
A pretrial was set Oct. 20 for Gordon Davis, Wilbert Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with theft for allegedly attempting to cover up a camera on a Wellsville porch while a woman took the package beside the steps at the residence on May 28. The resident provided the police with video of the incident.
A charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was dismissed against Ray Collins, 48, South Lincoln Avenue, Salem, for an alleged offense involving a vehicle taken from Arizona in 2021.
A pretrial was set Sept. 29 for Cory Haueter, 36, Maple Street, Salem, charged with illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly possessing a bag containing dangerous drugs while a passenger during a traffic stop on Sept. 20 in Salem.
A pretrial was set Sept. 29 for Stephen W. Bell, 36, East Third Street, Salem, charged with obstructing official business for allegedly failing to follow commands while a search warrant was being conducted at a Salem residence on Sept. 20, running into the front of the house away from officers who identified themselves.
A pretrial was set Nov. 10 for Nicholas Landsberger, 21, Pancake Clarkson Road, Rogers, charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs first offense and speeding.
A pretrial was set Nov. 14 for Larry Bowen, 63, Elberon Avenue, Salem, charged with OVI third offense, OVI refusal with prior within 20 years, driving under suspension and left of center.
David Bajerski, 64, Poland, was fined $915 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended, with credit for three days served at a driving intervention program, for physical control, amended from OVI, and traffic control devices. His license was suspended for a year, with driving privileges granted, and he’ll buy out 40 hours community service.
A pretrial was set Sept. 29 for Shannon Cunning, 45, Youngstown, charged with driving under suspension, stop sign and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly possessing a glass meth bubble, needle and syringe inside a pouch in her purse during a traffic stop on Sept. 21 in Columbiana.
A pretrial was set Nov. 8 for Tristan Apinis, 37, Youngstown, charged with illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly possessing a U.S. currency bill folded up holding dangerous drugs during a traffic stop on Sept. 20 in Salem.
A pretrial was set Nov. 14 for William Tomlin, 52, Jennings Avenue, Salem, charged with persistent disorderly conduct for allegedly being extremely intoxicated when found sitting on someone else’s back steps on July 26, thinking he was at his own property. Earlier in the evening, he was found staggering next to city hall, provided a ride home and given a warning for disorderly conduct.
A pretrial was set Nov. 10 for Jennifer Jarvis, 53, Washington Street, Salineville, charged with failure to stop after an accident and failure to control.
Brian Dale Hands, 39, Mattix Road, Lisbon, was fined $300 for failure to stop after an accident and left of center, with his license suspended for 180 days with driving privileges granted.
Kimberly Smith, 38, Lorain, was fined $150 for driving under suspension.
Donald Paul Barnett, 69, Girard, was fined $30 for failure to control.
Michael Harrington, 32, Boring Lane, East Liverpool, was fined $65 for tail lights and speeding, with a charge of unauthorized plate dismissed.
A pretrial was set Nov. 17 for Chloe Sorgman, 21, Black Road, Lisbon, charged with court ordered suspension and expired plate.

COLUMBIANA COUNTY GRAND JURY
LISBON — Local police agencies served multiple secret indictments Tuesday, including a case against a Wellsville man charged with four counts of rape over multiple years starting when the alleged child victim was 6 years old.
Spencer Kidder, 68, Maple Avenue, was indicted during the September session of the Columbiana County Grand Jury for the four first-degree felony rape charges, along with two counts of sexual battery, a second-degree felony, and a single count of gross sexual imposition, a third-degree felony. All the charges involve the same child victim.
According to the indictment, two of the rape counts allegedly occurred from Jan. 1, 2014 through July 16, 2018 and two allegedly occurred from July 17, 2018 through Dec. 31, 2020. The sexual battery counts allegedly occurred from Jan. 1, 2014 through Dec. 31, 2020 and the gross sexual imposition allegedly occurred during the same time period.
Other secret indictments served included:
— Tammy Atkins, 51, Samuel Street, East Liverpool, charged with two fifth-degree felony counts of possession of cocaine for allegedly possessing cocaine on Sept. 5, 2019 and Dec. 26, 2021.
— Craig Coffman, 40, and Ashley Sekely, 39, both East Fourth Street, Salem, both charged with second-degree felonies of aggravated trafficking in drugs and aggravated possession of drugs and third-degree felonies of trafficking in cocaine and possession of cocaine, along with specifications for forfeiture of money in a drug case. The charges stem from a drug bust at their Fourth Street residence on Feb. 8 this year when Salem Police and the Columbiana County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant. The indictment alleged they prepared for sale and possessed five times the bulk amount but less than 50 times the bulk amount of methamphetamine and trafficked and possessed an amount of cocaine more than 10 grams but less than 20 grams. The money for forfeiture was listed as $119.
— Erin Taggart, 27, West Perry Street, charged with second-degree felonies of aggravated possession of drugs and aggravated trafficking in drugs, with a forfeiture specification for money from a drug case. Both charges involved an amount of methamphetamine five times the bulk amount but less than 50 times the bulk amount during an alleged incident Jan. 15. The money for forfeiture was listed as $672.
— Brandon House, 26, Whinnery Road, Salem, charged with a third-degree felony attempted burglary and two fourth-degree felonies of receiving stolen property for allegedly being in possession of two stolen motorcycles that were reported stolen from the Franklin Plaza in the 1400 block of Franklin Avenue in Salem on Aug. 6 and attempting to trespass in an occupied structure in Columbiana County on July 22.
— James Lewis, 51, Dairy Lane, East Liverpool, charged with a third-degree felony count of retaliation against a public servant, party official, attorney or witness for allegedly making threats of getting even on Aug. 3 by inflicting physical harm to a St. Clair Township officer who arrested him for a 2017 case.
