— A deputy responded at 11:55 p.m. Tuesday to the 1300 block of Willow Lane in Yellow Creek Township for a barking dog, finding a large dog barking quite a bit inside a fenced-in area in front of a house. The deputy made attempts to make contact, but no one answered the door and there were no vehicles in the driveway. He planned to check back.

— Deputies were dispatched at 4:24 a.m. Tuesday to Middleton Ace Hardware regarding an alarm activation at the parts department door. All doors and windows were checked, included the fenced-in area, with all found secure.

— A burglary in progress was reported at 1:08 p.m. Monday on Haiti Road in Washington Township where deputies checked the residence and found it secure with no signs of forced entry. Next door neighbors had not seen anyone around the residence.

— A woman from North Lima reported at 12:40 p.m. Monday that her son’s 4-wheeler was taken without permission from a residence on Crestview Road, noting her friend who lives on Crestview Road claimed to have taken the 4-wheeler to her father’s residence in Pennsylvania for safekeeping, but she did not believe that to be true.
