— Sadie Jo Walker, 22, East Taggart Street, East Palestine, was cited with operating a vehicle without reasonable control after driving off of the right side of Sprucevale Road at 8:56 p.m. Friday and striking a ditch and embankment. The report stated Walker was not at the scene when patrol arrived, and was later located at her sister’s house. She sustained no injuries, but the vehicle sustained disabling damage and had to be towed from the scene.
— Joseph L. Gear, 47, state Route 164, Leetonia, was cited with operating a vehicle without reasonable control after driving off of the right side of state Route 154 at 11:20 p.m. Saturday and striking a ditch. Gear sustained no injuries and his vehicle sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene.
— Hannah L. Logston, 18, Cannons Mill Road, East Liverpool, was cited with operating a vehicle without reasonable control and failure to control after driving off the right side of Pancake-Clarkson Road at 10:26 p.m. and striking an embankment and utility pole. According to the report, Logston claimed that she was driving home and an oncoming vehicle with its high beams was partially in her lane. She hit her brakes and swerved, but once the vehicle passed, four deer were crossing the road before she could see them. Because the grass was damp, she slid off of the road and hit the embankment and pole. Logston was transported to East Liverpool Hospital with suspected minor injuries, and her vehicle sustained disabling damage.
— Scott E. Cameron, 52, Hillcrest Road, Wellsville, was cited with operating a vehicle without reasonable control, failure to control, and OVI after driving his motorcycle off of the right side of state Route 45 at 5:31 p.m. June 26 and striking a utility pole and tree. The report stated that Cameron was ejected 3-4 feet from his motorcycle and injured his left shoulder. He was taken to Mercy Health Youngstown by West Point EMS for a suspected minor injury, and his vehicle sustained only minor damage and was released to his daughter.
