COLUMBIANA COUNTY MUNICIPAL

LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Nicole Trimble, 22, Bayard Road, Minerva, appeared on felony charges of aggravated burglary and felonious assault and two counts of criminal damaging, a misdemeanor, for allegedly stabbing Autumn Gross after illegally entering the residence of Taylor Palmer , Bayard Road, Minerva, on Nov. 20.

The criminal damaging charges stem from Trimble allegedly using a key to carve the word slut into the side of Gross’ vehicle and for damaging the back screen door at Palmer’s residence by slamming it shut and breaking the door handle off. A preliminary/pretrial was set for Dec. 2, with bond set at $50,000 cash or surety. She was ordered to have no contact with Gross or Palmer.

Bond was set at $50,000 cash or surety for Michael Grimes, 63, state Route 45, Lisbon, for domestic violence, with a pretrial set Dec. 2. He was ordered to have no contact with the alleged juvenile victim. A sheriff’s detective spoke to a 15-year-old girl on Nov. 22 about an ongoing problem of mental and physical abuse by Grimes, for allegedly calling her names, blaming her for someone’s death from cancer, telling her to kill herself, offering to help her do it and throwing a chromebook charger at her. The juvenile also allegedly provided video from the charger being thrown and him yelling profanities at her and provided a photo taken of her at 8 or 9 years old with no top on. The detective spoke to the girl again on Nov. 23, when she reported Grimes threw a pair of scissors at her.

A pretrial was set Jan. 27 for Kimberly Izenour, 53, Cleveland Street, Salem, for obstructing official business and resisting arrest after he allegedly refused to answer the door when officers answered a parking complaint and were attempting to get a vehicle moved, then refused to follow police commands when she came outside while the vehicle was being towed.

A pretrial was set Dec. 16 for Corey Parrish, 30, Jefferson Street, Salineville, for permitting unclean habitation for allegedly being in possession of three properties on Jefferson Street, Salineville with trash on the premises Nov. 16 after being told to clean up the properties by the village of Salineville.

Arthur Gingher, 51, Petersburg, had a pretrial set Dec. 9 for driving under suspension, illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of drug abuse instruments, with bond set at $5,000 cash or surety, for allegedly possessing digital scales, a spoon with residue and two hypodermic needles during a traffic stop in Columbiana on Nov. 25.

A pretrial was set Jan. 18 for Cassie Thompson, 38, Elkton Road, Lisbon, for obstructing official business and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly providing her daughter’s social security number instead of her own and for possessing open and unopened suboxone strip paths in her purse during a traffic stop in which she was a passenger on Feb. 28 in Lisbon.

A pretrial was set Dec. 2 for William Burkhammer, 34, Fox Chase Road, East Liverpool, for telecommunications harassment, with bond set at $10,000 cash or surety. He was ordered to have no contact with Lance Felger. He was accused of sending threatening and harassing text messages to the victim on June 22 after being warned by police on June 21 to cease and desist from contacting him.

A pretrial was set Dec. 2 for Robert McLaughlin, 61, West Lincoln Way, Lisbon, for domestic violence for shoving a woman onto a bed and making her believe she would be physically harmed on Nov. 18 in Lisbon. He was ordered to have no contact with the woman.

A pretrial was set Feb. 1 for Tammy Johnson, 53, McGavern Road, Salineville, for alleged possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana for allegedly possessing a grinder, a pack of rolling papers, a cigarette roller and marijuana . The charges stemmed from a Nov. 12 traffic crash on Hazel Run Road near Clarks Mill Road.

Teresa Peddicord, 56, Church Street, New Waterford, had a pretrial set Jan. 20 for operating a vehicle under the influence first offense and marked lanes.

A pretrial was set Feb. 1 for Carley Eckman, 28, Salem-Alliance Road, Salem, for driving under suspension and no seat belt.

A pretrial was set Jan. 25 for Joshua Andrews, 31, West Clark Street, East Palestine, for OVI and speeding.

A pretrial was set Jan. 3 for Lance Derrick, 34, Youngstown, for driving under suspension and speeding.

COLUMBIANA COUNTY COURT NEWS

LISBON — In Columbiana County Common Pleas Court, Shawn Boyer, 48, Midland, Pa., was sentenced to community control sanctions for three years after pleading guilty to felony trespass in a habitation. He received credit for 114 days served in jail. Boyer trespassed in the residence of Allen Harris, Erie Street, East Liverpool on July 4, 2017.
