EAST LIVERPOOL MUNICIPAL

EAST LIVERPOOL — In East Liverpool Municipal Court, Christian M. Bell, of First Avenue, was sentenced to $250 plus costs, 40 community service hours, and 90 days in jail (13 days imposed) on charges of carrying a concealed weapon, hit skip and no operator’s license.

Brittany A. Petty, of Wilbert Avenue, was set Dec. 2 for a trial on an assault charge.

Pamela A. Kelly-Tate, of Cadmus Street, was set Nov. 9 for a pretrial on theft and criminal tools charges.

Harley A.W. Gill, of Sunset Drive in Wellsville, was sentenced at $200 plus costs on charges of driving under suspension (FTR), unsafe vehicle and improper display.

Meaghan G. Nixon, of Anderson Avenue in Wellsville, was sentenced at $250 plus costs, a 60-day suspended jail sentence and 60 community service sanction hours on a theft charge.

Shane L. Potts, of Park Boulevard East, was sentenced to $475 plus costs, a 90-day suspended jail sentence and 20 community service hours on charges of assault (reduced from domestic violence), driving under suspension (child support) and no license plate.

Brandy Avery, of Aliquippa, Pa., was sentenced to $250 plus costs, 120 days in jail (10 days imposed) and 20 community service hours on charges of drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia.

Tyler J. Robinson, of Miller Road in Lisbon, was set Nov. 4 for a pretrial on a drug paraphernalia charge.

Tina M. George, of Penn Avenue, was set Nov. 9 for a trial on a domestic violence charge.

John W. Kelly, of state Route 154 in Lisbon, had a probable cause hearing continued to Nov. 4 on a probation violation charge.

John L. Wooten, of Carter Street, had a probable cause hearing continued to Nov. 4 on a probation violation charge.

Jordan M. March, of Center Road, had a revocation hearing set Nov. 4.

Melissa S. Miles, of Johnson Road in Lisbon, was set Dec. 16 for a status hearing and Dec. 23 for trial on a theft charge.

Matthew C. Ward, of Michigan Avenue, had his arraignment continued to Friday on a domestic violence charge.

Devonta S. Oates, of Palissey, was sentenced to $50 plus costs on a disorderly conduct (reduced from domestic violence).

Wilbert E. Faulk Sr., who is listed as homeless, was sentenced to $100 plus costs and a 120-day suspended jail sentence on charges of littering, prohibited storage and infestation.

Jarrit D. Manley, of Salem-Alliance Road in Salem, was set Nov. 3 for a pretrial on a violating a protection order charge.

COLUMBIANA COUNTY MUNICIPAL

LISBON — An examination for competency to stand trial was ordered Thursday in Columbiana County Municipal Court for Richard Vecchio, 59, Girard, charged with aggravated menacing, resisting arrest, obstructing official business and disorderly conduct. The charges stem from an incident in Columbiana on Oct. 7 for an intoxicated male harassing people and threatening to kill officers.

William Doran, 48, Girard, was bound over to the grand jury for charges of compelling prostitution, attempted illegal assembly and possessing criminal tools for answering an ad placed on a known escort website by a Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force agent and agreeing to pay $150 for sex with a 15-year-old foster child runaway. He was taken into custody after arriving at a predetermined meeting place in East Palestine.

Cody Davis, 22, Park Avenue, East Palestine, was bound over to the grand jury on charges of felonious assault and burglary for allegedly forcing entry into a Pinewood Drive apartment in New Waterford on Oct. 13, breaking the lock on the door handle, entering a bedroom and striking Cody Andrews with a baseball bat and biting him in the right forearm before fleeing.

Jeremy Bergman, 42, New Castle, Pa., was fined $400, given a suspended 30-day jail term and 30 hours community service for disorderly conduct amended from soliciting and possession of criminal tools. Bergman requested oral sex in exchange for $70 by answering an ad posted by police on a known prostitution website and arriving at a predetermined spot in East Palestine on June 2.

Kyle Anstine, 27, Bellflower Road, Minerva, will face pretrial Nov. 1 for carrying a concealed weapon for allegedly possessing a set of knuckle dusters or metal fighting knuckles in his pocket on Oct. 20 in Minerva.

Deanna Moschella, 42, Youngstown, was fined $150 and sentenced to 20 days in jail with credit for two days served for criminal trespass for trespassing on a Prospect Street Extension, Salem property on Oct. 20.

Michelle Weikart, 53, Minerva, will face pretrial Oct. 28 for obstructing official business, with bond set at $10,000 cash or surety, for not cooperating with police during an incident Oct. 20 in Salem.

Michael Matheson, 32, Wooster, was fined $250 for disorderly conduct, amended from assault, given 20 hours community service, a 30-day suspended jail term and ordered to have no contact with Gary Ohler Jr., with whom he had a physical altercation, kicked him in the head, spit in his face and punched him in Minerva on Feb. 20.

Robert Vaughn Jr., 22, East Seventh Street, Salem, was fined $250 and given a suspended 30-day jail term for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence, ordered to complete 40 hours community service and have no contact with Brianna Smith stemming from a domestic dispute Feb. 7 in Salem when he removed a ring from her finger, restrained her and pushed her to the floor.

A domestic violence charge against Andre Sloan, 22, Danbury Avenue, Wellsville, was dismissed via a motion by the prosecution due to the alleged victim’s mental health, indicating she would be unable to testify in this matter. The charge stemmed from an incident April 20 in Wellsville.

A pretrial was set Nov. 15 for Charles Harrison, 24, Boardman Street, New Waterford, for fleeing and failure to comply and obstruction of official business related to a traffic stop and chase on a motorcycle in Columbiana on June 13.

A pretrial was set Oct 28 for David Muntean, 40, Raley Road, New Waterford, for violation of a protection order for allegedly arriving at the New Waterford home on Oct. 10 and screaming and banging on the door in violation of the protection order covering his wife and son.

Susie Gough, 19, South Lincoln Avenue, Salem, was fined $250, sentencing to 30 days in jail with 28 suspended and credit for two days served and ordered to complete 40 hours community service for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence. Gough had an argument with her brother on Aug. 31 in Salem and threw items at him, causing injury.

Diego Gonzalez, 32, Pioneer Road, Negley, was fined $450 and sentenced to 20 days in jail, with credit for 9 days served, for resisting arrest, obstructing official business and theft. The theft charge stemmed from him stealing two cell phones on March 20 in Lisbon. The other charges stemmed from an April 9 incident in Salem when he was seen removing items from a porch, refused to identify himself to police and resisted when placed under arrest.

A preliminary hearing/preset was set Oct. 28 for Shawn Fetters, 41, Renkenberger Road, for failure to control and two felony counts of operating a vehicle under the influence fourth offense, with bond set at $15,000 cash or surety.

Seth Martin, 26, Wellsville, was fined $500, received suspended jail terms with credit for two days served and ordered to complete 40 hours community service for criminal trespass and assault for kicking in the front door of an apartment in Wellsville and trying to harm Dakota Heaton on Oct. 3.

Jennifer Duron, 36, Graham Street, Lisbon, was fined $250, given a suspended 30-day jail term and ordered to complete 30 hours community service for disorderly conduct amended from theft for failing to scan $100 worth of merchandise from Walmart on Aug. 17. She was ordered to stay out of Walmart.

Kristina Avis, 37, Jefferson Street, Salineville, will face pretrial Nov. 22 for theft for allegedly stealing a $1.09 cake from BK Beverage in Salineville on Oct. 18 in Salineville.

Jeffrey Meredith, Wood Street, Wellsville, will face a preliminary hearing Oct. 28 for a felony charge of improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, with bond set at $2,500 cash or surety, for allegedly possessing a firearm during a traffic stop at Oct. 19 in Wellsville.

A preliminary hearing/pretrial was set Oct. 28 for Jacob Wallace, 28, Nassau Road, Kensington for operating a vehicle under the influence fourth offense, driving under suspension and improper/expired registration.

Joshua Board, 31, Grant Street, Lisbon, was fined $230 for driving under suspension, no seat belt and two child restraint citations.

A pretrial was set Dec. 6 for Michael Yoskey, 20, Meister Road, Hanoverton, charged with failure to stop after an accident, no seat belt and failure to control.

Pamela Risbeck, 46, Trinity Church Road, Lisbon, will face pretrial Dec. 14 for operating a vehicle under the influence second offense, failure to control and no seat belt.

A driving under suspension charge against Samantha Fagan, 23, Fairview Park, was dismissed.

Norman Sleper, 54, Revine Street, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for illegal use of possession of drug paraphernalia and sentenced to 14 days in jail, with credit for 14 days.

Joseph Koffel, 53, Harvey Avenue, East Liverpool, will face pretrial Oct. 28 for operating a vehicle under the influence, use of unauthorized plate, bumper height and no seat belt.

Sandra Beiling, 28, Metz Road, Columbiana, was fined $100 for speeding.
